Rose Garden Restaurant in Henderson offers a straightforward, no-frills setting for those seeking generous portions of classic Chinese and Asian dishes. Situated on Pacific Avenue, this spot feels like a neighborhood staple where locals stop in for both dine-in and takeout meals. The dining area is relaxed and unpretentious — the kind of place where the focus is clearly on the food and getting a solid meal rather than fancy decor or elaborate presentation.

The menu leans heavily on variety, with a strong emphasis on seafood and pork dishes. Options like Honey Walnut Shrimp, Mongolian Pork, and various fried rice or lo mein party trays stand out, catering well to small groups or families looking to try multiple flavors without breaking the bank. Portions are generous, often enough to share or save for later. For those visiting after work or later in the evening, the kitchen tends to stay open past typical dinner hours, which is a big plus for anyone needing a dependable meal late in the day.

Service here reflects a casual, efficient vibe — attentive but informal. A sense of cultural directness can be noticed in how the staff engage with guests, which some visitors find refreshing for its authenticity. The restaurant’s atmosphere is laid-back, making it suitable for family dinners, casual meetups, and quick takeout runs. People appreciate the combination meals that let you sample a few small dishes alongside appetizers and soup, a practical choice for those uncertain about what to order or wanting a bit of variety.

Overall, Rose Garden fits well within its Henderson neighborhood as a reliable Chinese eatery that puts hearty, familiar food front and center without fuss. It’s best for anyone looking for satisfying Asian comfort food in a setting that feels convenient rather than trendy. Visiting a bit earlier in the evening will usually mean a smoother experience with quick seating, but the willingness to accommodate late orders adds an extra layer of convenience for the busy local crowd.

The food and service are always excellent at Rose Garden. My wife and I have eaten in the restaurant several times and carried out a few times. We usually order their Family Meal B, which comes with soup, appetizers, and two entrees. For a variety of delicious, reasonably-priced Chinese dishes served in abundant amounts, I recommend Rose Garden.

Since I got off work late in the evening, I happened to stop by just as they were getting ready to close. Still took my order and I got to enjoy my first dinner in my new apartment. Definitely going back, only earlier in the day.

Wela'lia Wela'lin (thank you) for the absolutely delicious food, laid back and comfy service, really cute and interactive set up (sticky art wall!), and a table of cool merch (kitty headphones, phone cases, etc). I went twice in one day, take out after moving and then back with friends for dinner. So happy we went here! I've been all over the East Coast for food and I'm extremely thankful Rose Garden's near by, it'll help me get through missing Chinatown in Lenapehoking NYC. Hooked on the Phoenix buns, portions for the rices and curries are a whole heaping plate! Remember to bring a penny for the door when you go

Just left this place tonight & had a great time. It wasn't very busy tonight, but appreciate them being open later. The customer service was good, we were seated immediately & there was a sense of urgency when he saw us. I love the combination meals, it gives you a chance to try other smaller menu items. The portion sizes were great & we enjoyed everything. Definitely coming back soon. What we ordered: Beef lo mein combination, Fried chicken, orange chicken combination & BBQ pork buns. Drinks: Coke, Thai Tea & lemonade

I don’t agree with the last person. Food is great - especially for the price point. Also server / host isn’t rude - he’s direct. I think it’s cultural. I’ve travelled all over south East Asian and am part Malaysian- they are nice just direct. Anyways - love the food and price. Service was great. Also siu mai wasn’t in the photo because I ate it fast - I got that and lemon chicken which came With rice and an egg roll. Missing a star for mimosa (didn’t like the taste) and atmosphere a bit dusty.

I wanted to try the "Strawberry Chicken". It was on their regular menu as being $7.75. The server asked me if i want to make it a lunch item. I said yes. This was $3 extra. For that extra price I got some really good egg drop soup, 2 curry puffs, and an eggroll. I dont't eat eggrolls and did not care for the curry puffs, but that soup was delicious and really hit the spot. Also,my food was brought very promptly. After they brought my food, the server waited until i trued it and asked me if i liked it. I said yes. It was good. The fried rice wasnt very tasty but my chicken dish was AWESOME Its just like Oarnge chicken, but it is fried chicken tossed in Strawberry sauce. After i said yes, he quietly laid down my ticket very politely. As if to say, take your time- but only pay if you are ready. After he came once he saw my card there, he asked if i want a box. I didnt come hungry- I was just wanting to pass the time so I could stay in the area for an appointment I have soon. But the food was DELICIOUS . Also, the waiter provided good service for the two tables near me as well.An elderly woman brought the server her card and he got up so quickly he hit his knee on the table he was sitting at. They shared a smile. It was so cute I saw on google reviews from7 years ago, that the lunch menu used to be $5 per lunch. So to help- I have posted the updated lunch menu in which the lunch meals are $11. Overall I would give this place 4.5 stars. The receipt says my server is "Boss". As i opened my fortune cookie, i said "Thanks Boss"! He laughed sweetly and said that the system puts that and he doesn't know how to change it. We shared a laugh. He was very cute- looks and personality. When the busser came to take my empty plates after I put my food in to go box... She asked if I'd like more water while my stomach settles. That was very kind. I got good service, even after I finished paying! I'm happy i tried this place. I will probably come again in the future. I came at 12:09 to pass the time. I left ontime,at 12:45. As i left the server told me one last thank you and said to have a good day
